About Us

On Event Production Co is a leading technical, live event production company based in the East Midlands. We provide creative, technical solutions for conferences, awards, fashion shows, and product launch events to a wide range of blue-chip clients and their agencies.


The Role

We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic, energetic, and adaptable individual to join our team as a Production Assistant.

 

This is an ideal role for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments where no two days are the same. You’ll be part of a collaborative production team, playing a key role in supporting the planning, design, and delivery of live events. While previous experience in event production (especially with technical equipment) is desirable, we’re also open to those ready to learn and grow alongside experienced professionals.


Key Responsibilities

·         Support the Production Team in delivering high-quality production services that consistently exceed client expectations.

·         Assist Production Managers with day-to-day tasks including equipment allocation, technical drawings, logistics planning, and project administration.

·         Assist with project/event accounts administration.

·         Manage equipment dry hire enquiries to include producing accurate quotations and confirmations

·         Provide hands-on support during the delivery of live events.

·         Communicate clearly and professionally with colleagues, suppliers, and clients.

·         Help maintain organisation across multiple projects, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.

Job requirements

Skills and Qualifications

·         A genuine passion for delivering exceptional events.

·         Some previous experience in event production or event support.

·         Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

·         Excellent punctuality and time management.

·         Sharp organisational skills and a proactive attitude.

·         A willingness to learn and get involved in all areas of production.


Working Hours

The role is based on a 37.5-hour workweek. However, due to the nature of event installation and operation, flexibility is essential. Shifts may include early starts, late finishes, and a mix of weekdays and weekends.
